CB will be at St George’s Church Campden Hill, Aubrey Walk, W8 singing as part of the Composers Present programme of accessible tuneful contemporary music by the composer members of CP. CB will be singing Celia’s most recent commission a setting of Psalm 84 together with three pieces by Julian Dawes: “I have loved thee with an everlasting love”, “Lord how glorious is your name” and “The Priestly Blessing”.

REGRET THIS CONCERT IS POSTPONED We are delighted to be able to give a concert for the Arthur Fund at St Peter’s Church, Black Lion Lane, W6 on Saturday 15 October 2011. This will be a typical CB miscellany of old and new and will include the long-awaited premiere of Celia’s commissioned setting of Psalm 84 “O how amiable are thy dwellings thou Lord of Hosts”.
JUNE CONCERT FOR WYE VALLEY MUSIC
On Saturday 18 June 2011 Chiswick Baroque will be giving a 5 voice a cappella concert for Wye Valley Music in Newland Church – the Cathedral of the Forest. The programme will span roughly ten centuries, right up to some 2011 compositions including settings of poems by Forest of Dean poet F W Harvey.
MUSIC AND SILENCE
At St Saviour’s Wendell Park Church, Cobbold Road, W12 CB will be giving a time of Lent musical meditation with sacred music arising out of silence and falling back into silence providing space for personal reflection. Music will include works by Victoria, Tallis, Byrd, Bach, Morales, Tchaikovsky, Messaien and Harper. This can be a Saturday afternoon break from the bustle of life. We will invite donations to Musequality (www.musequality.org) to further their work in music education for very underprivileged youngsters

Landmark Arts Centre Ferry Road Teddington with Surrey Brass
In the Gothic Cathedral splendour of the Landmark Arts Centre, Teddington, CB are joining in the Surrey Brass seasonal programme of carols and Christmas music old and new. Something new for us – we hope to sing a gallery carol with band! St Paul’s School Choir and audience singing complete the picture. Oh and mulled wine and mince pies on sale in the interval.
HOLY INNOCENTS PATRONAL FESTIVAL MASS

Chiswick Baroque, the St Peters Singers, Handbells, organ and soloists will all take part in the second performance of this most exciting Patronal Mass commissioned by Holy Innocents from composer and CB director Celia Harper for this 2011 Patronal Festival. Time to be advised.

There will be a CB spot on the outdoor stage during the Wendell Park Fair, a local event promoted by the Wendell Park Community Association and the Church of St Saviour, Wendell Park. We will be singing from the folk and spiritual end of our repertoire with microphones – something new for us!

AUTUMN CONCERT for ARTHUR’S FUND
St Nicholas Church, Chiswick Mall, Chiswick W4 2PH
A typical Chiswick Baroque miscellany in the lovely setting of St Nicholas’ church at the west end of Chiswick Mall. The programme will include much new repertoire and at least one premiere. The proceeds from this concert are being added to the Arthur Fund set up by our soprano Gillian following the sad loss of 1 year old Arthur early this year.
